Over the past eight years, HAIRVIRGINITY has been helping women feel and look their best with the products and services we offer thus making us one of the largest online Hair Extensions retailer across the UK. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve, we are prioritising the health and safety of our employees and customers. Following Government advice, we wanted to let you know about some of the steps we are taking as a business...

HAIRVIRGINITY will remain fully functional in regards to the retail of our products and will continue to support you all as we continue to be guided by the Government in our prevention of the spread of COVID-19. With this being said, we have made the decision to stop all Home Service appointments (installations and fittings) which require human to human contact. Other styling services such as wig making, wig styling and colouring services are still available to be booked online where we can ship the finished product directly to you via post.

Business Continuity Plans

As a company we have all business continuity plans in place and they have been reviewed over the last few weeks to help protect the service and products we provide to our customers. We are more than confident that our business will run as normal. Our team understand the importance to not only protect themselves but other team members and people that we may visit to deliver goods and services from us.

What are we doing differently in a day to day basis?

Like most people and businesses over the past few weeks, we and our suppliers have increased our hygiene, cleanliness and sanitisation regime and we are promoting social distancing where possible. Everyone at HAIRVIRGINITY are doing their part to minimise risk. All box packaging and hair extensions are cleaned thoroughly and handled wearing protective gear.

If any client are mailing hair back to our stylists for a service appointment, we please ask where possible to follow the same procedures aforementioned and ensure all hair is clean.

Shipping and Delivery

Please note in regards to our shipping and delivery services, we are still offering Next Day Delivery on all standard items purchased before 3pm, but Royal Mail have advised that any ‘Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm’ services may be slightly delayed after 1pm as they try their best to handle overflow. However, their ‘Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am’ service remains unchanged.

Royal Mail and any other courier we may decide to use are now offering contact-free delivery and will no longer ask customers to sign handheld units - instead their drivers will sign on your behalf once they are sure you have received your parcel. These new processes will still give you full ability to track and trace your orders online.

Customer Service

At times like this we may change staff levels or hours of operation to meet the needs of our clients. Our dedicated customer service team are working across all platforms (email, online chats and social media) to resolve enquiries within our usual timeframes. You may, however, experience some slight delays due to the increased volume they are dealing with.

As new information continues to become available, we will continue to keep our employees and customers updated.

And finally…

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all our employees and customers for their loyal support during this unprecedented time. We pray you all remain safe and hope to see you again soon!

With Love,
